Residential Sales Roles

Field Sales Advisors

Enhancing relationships with both existing and potential customers in their homes, you’ll be working towards set sales targets as you promote the full range of British Gas and Centrica products and services. You’ll also provide advice on changes in the energy market, engaging customers in meaningful dialogue that helps them find the right British Gas product. This could be paying by Direct Debit, or signing up for another of our products and services, such as electricity or a central heating contract. For existing customers it might mean the difference between leaving for a competitor or staying with us, so it’s important you can remain friendly yet professional at all times.

While field sales experience would certainly be useful, more important will be your outgoing personality and ability to influence and communicate, this could be gained from another target-driven sales or customer service environment. Ideally you’ll also be a car owner or able to travel by public transport within your field sales area.
