National Apprenticeship Week
After the success of National Apprenticeship Week 2013, British Gas will again be involved with National Apprenticeship week 2014. We had a great time and we hope anyone who visited our Open Days at our Academies, enjoyed the week and will be keen to support us again next year.; National Apprenticeship week 2014 is scheduled to take place from 3-7 March 2014.
Every year, we train apprentices and trainees through our six Academies and they're fundamental to our continued growth - so it's only natural that we help to celebrate the UK's world-class apprenticeship schemes and traineeships.
British Gas is a company with a great history and a great future. Each year we spend over £30,000 training each apprentice, who are passionate about delivering excellent customer service and who represent our diverse customer base within the UK. We invest in talented people of all ages and by developing them they can play a key role in building trust for our customers and growing British Gas, as Britain emerges from the current economic climate.
The National Apprenticeship Service has produced a short video to showcase the highlights of National Apprenticeship Week 2013. The video includes clips from the Deputy Prime Minister’s Admiralty House ‘made by apprentices’ reception, Barclays launch of Bridges into Work, the CrossRail awards and entrepreneur Jason Holt, speaking at the Federation of Small Business reception and National Apprenticeship Service Chief Executive, David Way, talking an IBM event.
