We offer a blended learning approach, ranging from classroom training to self study and on-the-job learning. Throughout the programme you'll be learning from technical experts on a daily basis. Apart from technical expertise, we also help you develop the people and communication skills to become a rounded IS professional and kick start a great career.

The DofE is made up of five sections – Volunteering, Physical, Skills, Expedition and Residential – and will help you to develop self-confidence and self-reliance; gain a sense of achievement and responsibility; discover new skills, interests and talents and improve teamwork and other interpersonal skills.

The qualifications you'll gain during the programme include:

• An Advanced Apprenticeship, which includes:
  • Diploma in ICT Professional Competence
  • Certificate in ICT Systems and Principles
• The Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award or the British Gas Award (for those over 25)
• Well-regarded technical qualifications/certification associated with your particular stream (e.g. APM foundation, ISTQB)

Apprentices can take advantage of a fantastic total reward package that includes:

• Starting salary of £13,000, rising to £14,500 dependent on continued performance against targets
• Discretionary bonus of up to 5% every six months, dependent on performance
• 23 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays, and the opportunity to join our contributory pension scheme after three months of service

During your time on the programme you'll be able to call on a great network of support around you. You'll be assigned a buddy to ensure you get settled in right away, as well as a mentor to give you career guidance and support. You'll have a line manager to provide you with day-to-day tasks and support, and you'll even have an HR talent manager to assist you with your performance and development planning. And, of course, you'll also have your apprentice colleagues to have some fun with and provide you with support.
