Weaver Vale Jobs Fair

On Wednesday 17th July the  British Gas Diversity team attended the Weaver Vale Jobs Fair at Mid Cheshire College. The event was really well attended with over 500 visitors, many of whom were unemployed people who were looking for employment.

The event was run by Graham Evans MP and was supported by Pete Waterman, who lives locally. Both  Graham and Pete spent the whole day at the event and they spoke to all the exhibitors and a large number of the attendees.

The event went really well and we were able to promote a number of our opportunities including our Customer Service roles at Old Trafford Manchester and our Qualified White goods roles and Part Time Customer Service Roles at Hattersley. We would like to thank everyone who  visited our stand on the day.
