Company share schemes

We encourage all our employees to own Centrica shares so they can share in the growth of the company and have two schemes available; Sharesave & Share Incentive Plan.

Sharesave enables employees to save up to £250 a month of their post-tax salary, with the option to buy Centrica shares after three or five years at a 20% discount of their market value at the start of the contract.

The Share Incentive Plan gives you the option to contribute up to £125 from your pre-tax salary (or 10% if lower) to buy shares each month. For every two shares you purchase, Centrica allocates one free share, up to a maximum of 20.
