There is great scope within functions such as HR, Procurement and Change for career opportunities and progression within British Gas. These are crucial central functions to keep the organisation running smoothly and effectively. Given the numerous different business areas within British Gas there are numerous opportunities for broadening your experience within the business.

People and process are what make British Gas what it is, and are incredibly important to the organisation, from the recruitment, onboarding and continued care of our people to reward and HR operations or compliance, HR is key to the successful running of British Gas.

Operations is a massive area of the organisation and covers a huge number of different and geographically diverse roles. We have a huge field based operations team which needs running 24 hours a day 7 days a week. There is also a large operations team in our offices.

Change is at the heart of any large organisation and British Gas is no exception. There are several teams within the business working on many different and exciting change projects. Change is a discipline in its own right and we welcome applications from individuals with strong experience in this area.
