Our Apprenticeship is designed to train enthusiastic, customer focused Apprentices to become fully qualified members of the British Gas Team. During your apprenticeship you will receive excellent technical training which includes the City & Guilds Level 3 QCF Diploma in Domestic Gas Engineering. You will also complete a personal programme of activities to achieve the prestigious Duke of Edinburgh Gold award or British Gas Award programme.

You must hold a minimum of 4 GCSEs/Scottish Standard Grades or equivalent at grade C or above, including English, Maths, and preferably Science as well as a practical subject such as Technology / Food Technology or Electronics. Your application should ideally show evidence of your practical hobbies and interests, including voluntary work. If you do not already hold a full driving licence with 6 points or less for use within the UK, you must be working towards one at the time you submit your application.

In return, you will receive fantastic training in a British Gas academy. This Apprenticeship is a self driven programme that requires highly motivated individuals to manage their own development throughout the duration of the training.
